Madison Research Corporation Wins Prime Contract with US Air Force

Huntsville, AL (May 2, 2006): Madison Research Corporation (MRC) has been selected by the US Air Force (USAF) Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC) as a prime contractor for the Consolidated Acquisition of Professional Services (CAPS) ID/IQ contract at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH.

CAPS is a 5-year contract with an overall estimated value of $850 million for the ten selected prime contractors. This contract provides Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) to ASC and select Wright-Patterson AFB tenant organizations, including the Air Force Research Lab and the Air Force Materiel Command.

MRC will provide overall technical and management expertise to the acquisition of Air Force aircraft weapon systems, including airframes, engines, avionics, components, weapon systems integration, and support equipment. Specifically, MRC will deliver services in a number of specific areas – including acquisition logistics, financial management, test and evaluation, engineering, configuration management, acquisition mangement, and manufacturing support – that may be required in the planning, acquisition, development, production, and sustainment of USAF weapon systems. MRC's Team for this effort includes Booz Allen Hamilton, Davidson Technologies, Haverstick, L3 Communications Government Services, Multimax, Peerless Technologies, SAIC, SI International, and Universal Technology Corporation.
